A COMPILATION OF

WORK THROUGH MY

WERKLAB

A playground to learn and grow my creative skills, I was given the opportunity to take the lead with design operations. This included managing Instagram and creating social media content, executing communication posters, ideating and leading a photography shoot, and designing a new website.

I was also able to touch all aspects of the business, sales, marketing and operations. Collaborating with the team, I used my problem-solving skills to ideate ways to increase revenue, improve community engagement and maintain an environment that is aligned with the brand.

JUNO KIM PHOTOGRAPHY

Juno Kim is a local Vancouver photographer who started off shooting food and expanding his skills to lifestyle, products and more.

Working with Juno helped me learn to anticipate and think three steps ahead of the process. Whether that’s preparing the props for the next shot, keeping track of the shot list or being ready for a change of lighting or lens. All to ensure the shoot went smoothly and reflected the brand we were working with. Inspired by his creative eye, I took note of his style and his attention to detail. I was able to use that knowledge and apply it to my own projects with illustrating and web design.

ILLUSTRATIONS

2020 was the year I played around on Procreate and learned about the different illustration styles I leaned towards to.

I would describe my illustration style being a more hand-drawn playful look with a vibrant to neutral colour palette.
